How many opportunities do you have to see real live crocodiles in their natural habitat? The Tarcoles River, located between Manuel Antonio and San Jose/La Fortuna/Monteverde is the perfect place for this. In fact, this spot is known to be have one of the greatest populations of crocodiles in the entire world. The crocodiles here are massive, the largest reaching 7 meters long and you will see them swimming in the waters, or sunbathing on the river banks. Prepare to be amazed!
