Los Lagos
Los Lagos is one of the largest hot springs resorts in the Arenal area. It hosts 12 relaxing pools of variedf temperatures, from cold, to warm, to super hot that are available guest enjoyment! We consider this a perfect family hotel and hotel for groups in La Fortuna. It is one of the closest hotels to the volcano, sitting right at its base, featuring commanding views of the Arenal Volcano.
The Arenal volcano hotel also has three water slides that are much enjoyed by children adults alike. Many guests love relaxing in the huge warm pool at the swim-up bar sipping tropical drinks! This La Fortuna family hotel also features a small butterfly sanctuary, crocodile viewing river, a little lagoon filled with interesting fish, in addition to aquariums with snakes and other reptiles that kids love!
The rooms in Las Lagos are comfortable, clean and spacious, some with private balconies that are perfect for viewing the Arenal volcano, especially when the sun is setting. It also has private trails and up-close observatory lookout of the volcano as well as full guest services. One of the most enjoyed meals in the international restaurant is the delicious breakfast that comes included in the room price, and for dinner, don’t forget to try the traditional Costa Rican plate called the “casado”!
Los Lagos is affordable and one of the best family hotels in Costa Rica. La Fortuna is a great place for family vacations and offers a huge variety of activities for any kind of family.
