Hotel Costa Verde
Hotel Costa Verde
Hotel Costa Verde is one of our favorite eco-resorts and is located on the main stretch between the Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos in Costa Rica. Sitting atop a bluff this family beach hotel offers amazing views of the surrounding ocean and rainforest. Located on 30 acres, it also serves a biological corridor between the national park and the beach and is full of wildlife. It is also just three hundred yards from the beach overlooking the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park and features 3 cliff-side pools with sundecks and spacious rooms, studios and bungalows. All rooms offer balconies with a bird's-eye view of the Park's majestic coastline or rainforest canopy vistas dotted with toucans, sloths, coatis and monkeys.
This Costa Rican jungle oasis is perfect for families, groups or couples offering accommodations for a variety of options for vacation styles, on-site spa services and four unique restaurants to suit all tastes. It is most famous for the two large airplanes that have been constructed to be part of the hotel’s architecture. One airplane has been turned into a guesthouse complete with two bedrooms, dining room, and two private balconies that sit on top of each wing.
Guest rooms are simple yet well appointed with teak furniture, tiled floor, nice linens, and private balconies. Run by an Argentinean chef, the hotel’s four restaurants are delicious and provide a variety of dining options including Anaconda, serving typical and international foods; La Cantina BBQ and Bar, featuring live music; El Avion, where you can enjoy a cocktail inside the famous airplane restaurant or dine on the ocean view deck, or the Wagon that offers fun ambiance with a tons of color from the wild mosaic tiled floor that features huge exotic animals.
While many people visit this area for the beautiful beaches, a stop by nearby Manuel Antonio National Park is a must for nature lovers. Visitors also come to Manuel Antonio for activities like snorkeling, bike riding, swimming, kayaking, surfing, birdwatching, marine wildlife observation, ATV riding, hiking, scuba diving and other nature and adventure tours. Desafio are the Adventure Specialists in Costa Rica and can help you design the perfect vacation to Manuel Antonio and Costa Rica!
