Looking for the fastest and easiest way to get between La Fortuna and Monteverde? You can't go wrong with the Taxi-Boat-Taxi (also known as the Van-Boat-Van) boat transfer. We pick you up at your hotel and take you to the lake where the friendly Captain Marcos is waiting for you. You'll cross the picturesque Lake Arenal (the 2nd-largest lake in Central America) for about 25 minutes and then on the other side, a driver will be waiting to tak you to your hotel. Door-to-door service!

Departs: 8:30am, 2:30pm from La Fortuna, 8:00am, 2:00 pm from Monteverde (actual departure time varies depending on hotel pick-up location).

Duration: Approx. 3 hours total.

Includes: Ground transport to Lake Arenal; 30-minute boat ride to the town of Río Chiquito; 1.5-2 hour ground transport from Lake Arenal to your Monteverde hotel.
